v2.4.0 August 10, 2026
Major Feature Release

Multi-Department Patient Queue Routing & Care Plan Safety

Queue patients to multiple departments simultaneously right from the Queue Console, with flexible Sequential and Parallel routing modes and automated care plan safety protection.

Multi-Service Point Queue Routing

New Feature

Send a patient to multiple departments simultaneously directly from your Queue Console, eliminating manual room-by-room re-queueing.

Sequential Mode (Step-by-Step Pipeline)

Sequential

Set a multi-step sequence (e.g. 1. Triage ➔ 2. Laboratory ➔ 3. Consultation ➔ 4. Pharmacy). Patients automatically advance to the next recommended room as each department completes service.

Parallel Mode (Concurrent Workflows)

Parallel

Queue a patient to multiple departments at once (e.g. Laboratory + Pharmacy + Billing). Whichever department becomes free first can call and attend to the patient without blocking other parallel queues.

Care Plan Override Safety Overlay

Safety

A smart warning dialog pops up if a staff member attempts a transfer that omits or bypasses pre-scheduled care steps created by colleagues, displaying full pipeline details and clinician attribution.

Enhancements & Fixes

Mandatory Skip Reasons, Priority Care Badges & Queue Refinements

Fix for Adding Rooms to TV Displays

Fix

Resolved an error that prevented some service points or consultation rooms from being assigned to TV display screens in facility waiting areas.

Mandatory Skip Reasons & Transparency

Queue Tool

When skipping a patient, staff choose from preset reasons or type a custom note. The reason is clearly shown on patient cards in the Skipped Queue list.

Priority / VIP / Emergency Care Status

Priority

Flag emergency or VIP patients as Priority. Priority patients jump to the top of every queue for that visit, marked with a bold red "PRIORITY" badge.

Seamless Queue Tab Switching & Room Status Badges

Navigation

The main queue view now updates smoothly when clicking between Waiting, Skipped, and Served tabs, showing clear badges like "🔒 In Service at [Room]" when a patient is being seen elsewhere.
